IN THE QUIET HOURS
IN THE QUIET HOURS
In the quiet hours
Just before dawn
As the birds sing
The darkness washes over me,
A pain that never ends.
I think of life's highway,
Its twists,
Its turns
And its hidden bends.
LIFE
Is not a rehearsal
But LIFE
Squeezes all
The joy
From
Us
At times.

Tony - don't take other's unkind words to heart. I know you can rise above it. Take the rise Tony Tony rise. Pam Ayres has got nothing on you. You are a god of words - especially unspoken ones. Your biggest fan xx
PS: Can you come and speak to my Nan. She's in a vegetative state after gorging on Trill watching too much Gillian McKeith. That goblinhead's got alot to answer for I can tell you. Someone told me you've got healing words Tony. I do so hope you can find it upon yourself to visit me and Nan. We are in special hospital called Parkhurst - I think there is a helipad so you can park your chopper ok. Can you show me your chopper when you come?? I'm not stalking you if you are worried or anything.XXXXXXOOOOOO No1 Official Fan No 1.
Thank you for your encouraging words: I fear I may be misunderstood by the owner of this blog. It's disheartening to have one's works dismissed. Let me assure you: they come from the heart.
I'm sorry to hear about your Nan. However, these days I don't like to use my so called "celebrity" to take advantage of people. Besides, I tend not to get my chopper out as much as I used to. Showing off isn't big or clever, is it?
